Terms of Service
Last updated September 28, 2026
s-tieris a free app for ranking things into tiers and sharing the results. By using it you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.
Using s-tier
- No account is needed. Use it for fun, for debates and for your group chat.
- Don't use it to harass anyone, to break the law, or to try to disrupt or overload the service.
- Rankings are opinions. Yours are yours, and nobody has to agree with them.
Your lists
What you create (your lists, rankings, custom items and tier names) belongs to you. It's stored in your browser, not by us, so keeping a backup is up to you: use Settings → Export data. We can't recover lists that were erased from your browser.
When you share a list, anyone with the link or the image can see it and make their own remix. Only share what you're happy to share, and only add pictures or text you have the right to use.
Templates, pictures and names
The ready-made templates list well-known people, places, works and brands so you can rank them. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners, and appearing in a template doesn't mean anyone endorses s-tier. Photos come from Wikimedia Commons under their own licenses, credited on the Credits page.
No guarantees
s-tieris provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Features may change or go away. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost data or for anything that comes from using the app or from other people's shared lists.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use s-tier after that means you accept the new version. See also the Privacy Policy.
